just curious as to when STD's should go out...

I didn't send STDs but I hear a year in adance to about 10 months is the norm, I guess.

I sent mine out pretty much as soon as we booked the hall. So figure February/March for next June. But that was also bc we also made it a change of address notice and to announce our engagement to distant relatives.

We sent them out in January - about 9 months beforehand.

Rule of thumb is 6-9 months. I sent mine out last week for a February 06 wedding. (About 7 months).It is the first weekend of President's week and a lot of people travel.

I think we did 6 or 7 months. It wasn't an incredibly popular time, but we had a lot of OOT guests who needed to buy plane tickets and reserve hotel rooms.

We are going to send them 8-10 months or so before our wedding, but if you are getting married on a holiday weekend then I would send them asap.

I sent them out as soon as we set a date...7 months prior to the wedding.

We sent ours 6 mths prior. You don't want to send them out too early because people may forget. JMO of course!

I sent mine out last month - we have a lot of out of town guests, plus I just wanted to get them out of the way so I can focus on invitations ;)

i am holiday weekend and i sent it a few weeks ago- and finished it up last week soooo about a year

I am waiting for my proofs from DUET so I can possibly use one of the pics on the magnet. So I think Ill send them in september for my july wedding

I sent mine 7 mos because I have so many people from OOT
