We do this too. I have been doing it for years and have never cashed it in so I have no idea what we have..it is going to be a nice suprise. We have one joint jar (its a milk bottle that says Wedding Fund) that my mom got us for fun and I have secret stashes all over!

yeah thats why Joe LOOOOVES going through my bag bc i have TONS of quarters lol, he gets all happy seeing it...And yeah since i have at least 20 metrocards at all times with different amounts or nothing on them but never check them Joe takes them to check them and he'll keep alot of them lol,he did it last week and kept alot of my metrocards, but put $30 on a metrocard for me and gave it to me...he is also SOOOO OCD that i had a bunch of metrocards with just $1.50 left on them since thats how much the path train is, and he actually sat there and put .50 cents on 7 metrocards so they can all be $2 lol

My Joe does the same thing Denise!!!!!!!
When I was in Italy this summer he used my car to get to work so he could save some $ on gas. (he only puts super in his car...I put reg!)
Anyway....long story short....I went to the nail salon when I got back from Italy and went to look for a quarter where I keep all my change and didn't even find a penny!!!!!!

last year FH and I cashed in over 500 dollars- of course that was saved throughout a few years but still it's a treat you can do something extra with that money.

yeah we started doing it and in 6 months we had over 150 bucks, now its so hard to keep that goin lol i dont know somehow quarters go missing ....damn coffee breaks

I did! I started when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter and after she was born there was $200 inthe jug!

yup i do .. i started a long time ago and i put a plastic ziplock bag under the cover to catch the change as i add to it then i add to the total so i know how much i have ( i know im wierd haha)
