I only get my nails done once in awhile. Although I love pedis!

I do more food shopping and bring my dinner to work.

We still eat out a lot but we do eat at home a lot more too. We are also much more careful where we go to eat.

I car pool to work with my friend.

I don't shop a lot.

I set up automatic savings. My bank automatically takes out my predetermines amount when I get paid.

I'm trying ot grow my hair long anyway but I get it cut less often and dye it myself. Yes I'm 23 with gray hair!

Coupons! If I do go shopping I wait until I get a coupon before!

hmmm did you just start planning? at first i wanted to do that too, but after a while honestly i dont even want to spend the money i do have left to spend on myself freely, i put it towards the wedding...I dont get this need to buy a bunch of new things, i keep thinking now ok good we can pay off our installments to the RH faster, ok lets just pay off this vendor now...Ive kind of become obsessed with saving as much for this and paying off most of the things so we dont have to go crazy towards the end

Re: saving money

We have not been eating out as much and using lots of coupons at AC Moore and Michaels for things for the e-party. Actually, some of the centerpieces that we are making for the e-party are gonna double as centerpieces for the wedding (minus the e-party motif)

We have also been saving spare change.

I have been taking extra coverages at work for the absent teachers and FH has been trying to work OT at our jobs

Re: saving money

Heres how im trying to save:

1. stopped dyeing hair

2. making coffee at home instead of buying(sooo hard, lol)

3. Target clearance-seriously, there are some great deals there, we just got a set of 5 plates that were exactly what we wanted for $3.00!!

4. traded restaurants for wendy's dollar menu

5. day trips or local overnights to CT or RI

6. Coupons!!! They are PIA and embarrass me when they fall out all over the counter when im paying, but who cares, im saving serious dough!

7. Go to local beach or park on weekends..they are beautiful and free!(until summer comes, but we are splurging on empire pass which is well worth it)

I've been having a hard time saving. I think I will start to have a big chunk of my pay check taken out automatically. Its the only way
