Re: savings
We have both... I put the majority of it in the wedding account now and just a little something in my regular savings...

Re: savings
I put about about 40% into the joint wedding acct and remainder into my personal savings......its a wedding acct but we are also using it as a house fund when the wedding is over.....

Re: savings
It's realllllly hard. After paying the bills for our apt/car/food, and saving for the wedding, we really dont have any money to put in a personal savings. It *****!!!!! But we want to still use some money for the movies, or dinner so with that we just can't save except for the wedding.
we have money in savings and have just been putting paychecks towards wedding stuff...

Re: savings
im trying to save up for my 8 month 'emergency savings' fund just like Suze Orman suggests. But I agree its very hard. I have more $$ in my wedding fund than I do in my savings right now..I am hoping I can just save more..
I have an ING Orange Savings account but recently opened a Discover Online Banking account because the interest rate at ING keeps dropping (now its like 1.25%) whereas Discover offers 2%.
