Ok, so to most people this won't matter, but I took the day off and went into the city. I was at the Fenaroli store and there was a girl trying on headpieces and veils. She had her mom with her. When everything was all done she said to her mom, 'oh mommy, thank you so much. Everything is perfect.' I just thought that was so sweet, the exchange of affection with her mom. My mother is no longer with us so I can definitely appreciate a moment like this. It just really stuck out to me. So, I just want to say to you girls who have your moms with you, love and appreciate them even when they drive you mad !!!
p.s. - alright I am done being all emotional now !!

im so sorry that you dont have your mother with you anymore. i chersh my parents every day of my life because i know how precious life is. thanks for sharing that special moment

Oh! That is so sweet! I love moments like that. It's always nice to see a daughter who is appreciative to mom!!

Perhaps you seeing that exchange was your mom's little way of showing you that she's still 'watching' you.
My Fh proposed on a cruise last year just months after my father passed away. He was saying to a friend of ours before he proposed that he wished that he had the chance to ask for my father's blessing. Our friend sympathized with him and uncomfortably stuck his had in his pants pocket... when he pulled his had back out again, out came the memorial card from my father's funeral. This took both of them by surprise, our friend swears to this day that those pants were at the cleaners at least four time prior to that occasion. ....Things just have a way of happening sometimes.

I thought the showroom was so beautiful. They have so much more than any of their vendors. The girl that helped me was the sweetest too !!! Extremely helpful !!

My mom is down in Florida, so even though I still have her in my life, thankfully, she hasn't been able to be there with me for all this bridal stuff. I can definitely appreciate your emotion over this. My mother and I have cried a few tears over the phone when I tell her about new things I've done and how I wish she could have been there for it. And don't worry about being emotional. I think all the wedding stuff makes everyone a little over emotional.
