Say 'YO' to the dress!
Wow, I just got back from my big trip to the Bronx for my first fitting at 'Gowns by Louise'.
I love my dress so much! It is the mini in the album. On me the skirt is super-poofy so it feels bridal, and the two-tone is really pretty. I love the color, it made my skin glow!
The front was super low cut, we spend about an hour trying different options to cover the bra.
Everyone in the store took a shot at stuffing something in my cleavage.... flowers, brooches, ribbon.
We finally found a purpose for my too-dingy polka dot veil...it's going to fill in the front of the dress.
I took the flower and ribbon off, and made it into a hand corsage which really brings out the vintage feel.
I am super-happy, and really feel like a bride.
Everyone was very nice, it is just a simple neighborhood bridal shop, but they made it all work for me!
I never saw this before, they have a tip box for the seamstress.
I also ordered a card box at a flower shop nearby, I am kind of rolling the dice, but I want to be prepared if everyone brings money instead of gifts.
