If I use someone else's scanner and save my pics on a disk, can I use a regular floppy to save like 10 pics, or do I need a disk that holds more? I'm dying to post my pics here!

It depends on the size of the pics. If they are very large, you may not be able to get many on a disk. Why don't you scan them from her computer and email them to yourself?

As long as you compress them enough that should work. You can also email them to yourself from your friends computer. Save them as a .jpg file.
