We need to purchase a scanner so I can start to scan some wedding proofs and stuff like that. So I was wondering if any you girls know of any good recommendations. basic, and preferably under $100 there are so many out there now and the prices are great just dont know which to buy. so figured I would ask you ladies some help

I just went through the same process! I asked around a lot and ended up buying the Epson 1660. It is fantastic! But, a little over $120. If you want to stay in budget, Epson also makes another model (forgot the model number) for about $100. I got mine from Comp USA and the guy who helped me actually told me I could buy a cheaper one than I bought and still get great picture quality.

I have the same scanner and absolutely love it. I also think Shamma has the same one.

I am going to check that out, I rather get something for more and know it works good.
what does it mean by BUILT IN 35MM strip Adapter. is this to scan negs or something? I am totally clueless

Yes it also scans negatives.
I really don't know what the other thing means.

Yeah, I think you can scan a strip of negatives. The software bundle that comes with the Epson is also really good for editing the photos if you want.

NOW if it scans negatives I definitely will go over my budget, thats probably why the guy told you a cheaper model is as good, it just probably doesnt scan negatives.
have you guys used this feature, if so do the pics come out good?
