I went to the Dr. on Monday and they did a sono said everything was fine, but I am still scared, my cousin (we found out the same day we were pg) Started spotting also on Monday, and had a miscarrage yesterday , now I feel so bad for her and I am so scared for myself.

Aimee, I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin. I'll keep good thoughts for you and I hope everything will be OK. Definitely try to relax and not over do it.

Re: SCARED!

I feel so sorry for your cousin and offer nothing but prayers for her, but please try to remain calm and relaxed. These first few weeks are very critical and anything that dramatically affects you, will affect the progression of your pregnancy. For both of your sakes, please try to take it easy

Re: SCARED!

How far along are u now? I hope I can offer some words of encouragement, I spotted the weekend after my pregnancy was confirmed (about 5th-6th week) and was TOLD by my Dr. that 99% chance I am going to miscarry!.....long story short I am now celebrating 20 weeks and it turned out that it was normal (i had a 2nd opinion when nothing happened a week later).

My only advice is to relax and think POSITIVE!

Many hugs to your cousin and I WILL keep you in my prayers. Easier said then done, but do things to take your mind off of it.

EVERYONES BODY IS DIFFERENT and DR.'s DONT KNOW EVERYTHING!!!

Re: SCARED!

I had some spotting too around week 5 and I went to the Dr, we were actually on vacation in Switzerland. He told me that if a miscarriage was going to happen, it was going to happen. I was so upset and scared. But here I am at week at 22 and going strong. I took it easy over the next few weeks and the spotting stopped. Try to take it easy and relax, don't do anything that you don't have to do.

I am so sorry about your cousin, I remember when you posted about how you both found out around the same time. My cousin was also pregnant (2 weeks ahead of me) and she had a miscarriage I felt so bad for her especially after she had been trying for 3 years and I only tried for 2 months. I will keep you both in my prayers.

Re: SCARED!

I also had spotting when I was pregnant. Some people just have light spotting and some don't.

Re: SCARED!

I also spotted around week 7 and week 9. I was hysterical. But I went to the Dr. and they couldn't find a reason why it happened. They said sometimes it just happens in some people! I wish you the best!

People usually spot around week 6-7 because of implant bleeding. Hopefully thats all it is.
