...last night I found a small lump om the back of Damien's head kind of between his neck and head. I am so scared!!! We have a 10:45 Dr's appt. Which I'm scared to go to in case they tellme it's something bad. I am usually so calm with things but this is really freaking me out. Please pray that it is nothing!!! I will keep you all updated!!!
He is ok!!! It was a vein. The Dr. felt his whole head and it was fine. So of course I felt like an idiot I'm so glad it is nothing. My Dr. made me feel really ok about it, she was like don't worry that's what we are here for. She made me so happy with my decision for a peditrician Thanks for all the well wishes.
(holy nightmare going to the Dr on a Saturday )

Stacey! I am so glad everything is FINE! Damien's pediatrician does sound awesome!
This story just reminded me of the lump that Paul had behind one of his ears as an infant. We could not figure out what it was, and the pediatrician was convinced it would disappear as Paul grew. I was pretty diligent about checking it, and sure enough - it disappeared!

You are funny...the same thing happened to us one day...
We had Mia in the swing in the dining room under the ceiling fan/lights Well Hubby looked at her and almost had a heat attack! She was BLUE at least that is what we thought
I snatched her out of the swing called her Nanny downstairs and told her to come up ASAP and we took her to the bathroom and looked at her under the vanity lights..
It turned out that her complextion is so fair that the veins around her mouth can be seen on the surface of her skin!
I called the doctor anyway and he reassured me over the phone that she was okay..he asked key questions about her breathing and so forth. This must of taken place months ago and we can laugh about it today.
