It's a really weird feeling knowing that I am going to be starting my own family. I will officially begin my own little family when I marry FH. It's kind of hard to let go of just being a kid. I'm a little scared. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I being ridiculous? I should throw in that I am moving out for the first time since I was away at college as well, so that makes me a little extra nervous because I am not only getting married, but leaving my home for the first time. Help! Calm me down, haha!

I totally feel the same way! I have the fear of leaving home. My FH has his own apartment but right now we are on the process of finding our first place together and it is nerve wracking. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing delay tactics because I feel like I'm growing up too fast! LOL

Oh my god, I know! I feel like I keep putting things off just cause I am too nervous to actually do them. Each step is just another step towards moving out and being an adult! Can I just get married and have a little apartment out back of my parents house and live there? Haha!

You are not alone. I def feel the same way.I dont live with FH and never lived with a boy hehehe. I'm nervous but super excited. We will get through it. I'm pretty sure every bride was nervous when they decided to move in with each other whether it was before or after the wedding.

i did it when we got engaged and it was scary then. you get used to it. plus, you can always go back 'home' to visit your parents. i did that a lot in the beginning.

YES. It is scary. I left my family in Pennsylvania to be with my fiance, and its very scary to think about raising a family without MY family here. Im very close with my family and I always pictured living close my to parents and them coming over all the time to spend time with the kids. Now i have to drive 3 and half hours just to see them :( And I get nervous omg what if i cant have kids?? how expensive is it to have kids?? I cant go shopping whenever i want anymore???? Ill never have a free moment again in my life?? I did some nannying this year, and sometimes it made me think 'WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO HAVE KIDS???!!!!' LOL! Im sure its different when they are your own, but its a major lifestyle adjustment. Growing old is tough and a little depressing. Id love to be little again!!!!

The thought of having kids does this to me!! I can't even imagine it right now. Even if you want kids, I find what really helps me is to think to myself 'It is YOUR choice, you do not HAVE to have kids'. That probably helps me only because I'm a bit commitment-phobe (but getting married haha I'm not worried about that at this point!) but it may work for someone else! And seriously, kids are super EXPENSIVE!!

Me and FH used to always think we wanted kids at 26...well I am 26 now and he is 27 and we are no where near ready!!! AT ALL!!! HAHA! The very notion gives me a headache. Watching his niece is enough. She's a handful and great birth control, haahah!

Yes I want to have freedom for longer too! Exccept fiance is in a rush to have kids... hes a little older than i am so its not fair! he got 3 more years of freedom than me lol! Omg the worst part- this is so bad... im such a germaphobe and kids are like little germ spreading mutants! Sneezing in my face and projectile vomitting/pooping/peeing Nannying ruined me lol! My poor kids are going to have their mouths wiped and diapers changed every half hour lol Dont get me wrong, i love kids, and everyone says im such a mom already, but YUCK they can be so GROSS lol

HAHAHAHA!!! I TOTALLY AGREE!!!! I'm the same way. Those kids are going to be clean even while playing in the mud!!!!
