Im using a women who works from her home. She's done a couple of BM dresses for me in the past and also my friends wedding gown. She does amazing work!! Its on June 6th.

How far before the wedding are you generally supposed to go for your first fitting? I seem to remember my bridal shop saying three months but I was wondering if you guys think it'd be ok to cut it a little closer...? I need as much extra time as possible to lose those last few stubborn pounds!!!!

My bridal place said 3 months before hand because if something happens to go wrong then they need time to fix it.
