Does anyone have a reco they can send me for a shuttle or school bus that will take my 40-50 guests between the east wind and the holiday inn in riverhead? the hotel is providing ONE shuttle for 15 rooms and the shuttle only holds 14 people!). I will either have to pay for another additional 2-3 shuttles or figure out a way to fit them all on some kind of bus. thanks all!

I'm using coachman transportation, they gave me a great deal on a party bus for the whole day.

First Student! Call them and they'll give you the quote over the phone.. they give you a quote for 4 hours..
It'd be from the bus yard to the hotel, to the reception, back to the bus yard. THEN later it's the bus yard to the reception, to the hotel then to the bus yard.. so the clock doesn't run during your reception. I think it was $350.. of course I can't find my paper right now

Does the $350 include multiple runs? Hilton Garden Inn charges the same but just one run there and back. I feel like that's not enough, especially if ppl want to party a lil more at the bar afterward

holiday inn is a little cheaper if you haven't reserved your block yet...they charge $225 per shuttle (also just one trip there and back) and the fist one is free if you book more than 15 rooms...not the best deal but i found them cheaper than Hilton. Room rates were comparable.

They told me that the shuttle only holds 14 people even if more than 14 book (& they wouldnt make additional runs) so we went to the Hilton.

They do it by hours.. so It can do as many runs as you like.. but the bus holds 45 people so Idk how many runs you'd need. After the 4 hours it would be $45 per half hour. The $350 is for 4 hrs but that 4 hrs can be broken up.

How far is East Wind from the hotel? Why can't they make multiple trips? Whenever I asked about shuttle service I was told that the shuttle that held usually 15 people would make as many trips back and forth for up to 2 hours.

No problem! They told me they may raise their prices a little in July (I spoke to them in like March) but she said not usually by much.. So if you need up to date info you can just call there. I think her name was Kitty :)
