We can't have onions on low-carb??? Why not? I've been having them!

Re: Scott!!

Form what I have read they are very high in carbs....so Danielle and I basically avoid them, or we eat very little of them.

You must be joking!!!! I was trying to help!! I posted a link that lists the nutritional info on foods so misinformation is not spread on what people HEARD from others, and I get nasty comments about it??? W T F?

ah LisaW
I believe this was a conversation between Mrs.wask and Scott. I don't think they needed your imput on anything...

And if she wanted to ask someone who already new information about carbs in onions WHY BOTHER researching it herself...
What is wrong with asking a friend??

ISN'T that a part of what we are here for anyway?? bouncing and relaying interesting information...Sh!t we all could DO RESEARCH instead of asking questions...But what fun would that be...some of us like the social interaction with others here....

JEEZ...

sorry mrs.wask for interrupting your converstaion

As everyone else always answers on here, this is a PUBLIC website. If it was a PRIVATE conversation it would have been in FM.

What I was doing was using a link to BACK UP the *interesting* info I had already *bounced and relayed* in a previous thread concerning carbs in onions.

Thanks for your opinion

It may be a public forum...DUH but it was a question to SCOTT hence the title
You were rude in your post...which was unnecessary ESPECIALLY when you tell her to do the research herself yet offer assistance ...which is really what she was looking for..not the obnoxious comment

'WHy don't you do the research yourself'...

I'm sure if she wanted to she would have done the research herself. She was just asking Scott a question. I think the way you went about answering it was a little sarcastic.

I thought Lisa was trying to help....I didn't think she was being obnoxious...did I miss something??

Re: Scott!!

You're right - it's a public forum - and yes, I did direct it to one person, but maybe because I figured others could benefit from the info and may have my same questions - there are many of us on this site concerned with nutrition and diet. If you have some info to share - great! But I did not appreciate a semi-rude answer and no help. Obviously others felt the same way because it was commented on by a few others before I even saw the post again. And then to start posting back with What the blank and all of that? Not necessary - very childish.

Yes, yes, we all know that *no one* EVER replies to a thread titled with someone else's name...

And, I was not rude. I told her to do the research and offered a link b/c on the other thread Scott and I had conflicting views on carbs in onions.

Give me a break!

Again, just looking to start trouble...

WOW look what happens when I watch tv instead of browsing long island weddings. I mean you walk away for one minute and people start getting angry about stupid things....

Ron please lock or delete this thread.
Scott

Any questions for me regarding low carb can be Fm'd to me.....
Thanks
