Scotto Brothers Brides - Please come in!!

Hi,
I'm wondering if any brides have used or will use the in-house florist - I believe they are part of the Perfect Party Planner. Me and Fi met with them with today and we like what we saw - however, I've never seen anybody on the boards talk about them and I don't know anybody who has used them in the past. Any feedback?

I was going to check out the in house florist. i am getting married at the fox hollow and the flowers thee and the flowers at the inn are always beatiful. i am not sure if i will use them because my brother works for a nursery and they do flowers so it all depends on price. I haven't used any of their other vendors so far though.

We are not using them because they were way over priced for our budget and they didn't throw in any freebees. My florist threw in the flowers for the cake and the dais. We are using Jack and Rose.

We are using them either - way too expensive. We went with Flower Michele.

Haven't gotten that far yet but if they are as expensive as they seem to be, we won't use them and will go with an outside vendor

we are going with jack and rose also. i didn't even check out the house vendor - not really sure why....but jack's prices were better than any other florist we went to, so we went with him!

I'm getting married at CB...we arent using the house florist....we are using Pedestals....BUT...CB does recommend pedestals.

I used them and loved them!! They were so reasonable. My centerpieces cost me $35 dollars each (you get $10 off each one for being a scotto bride). I then paid an extra $5 for votives and rose petals on each table. I loved my centerpieces they did a great job. They were such a big help and made me exactly what i wanted and had even made me a sample so i got an idea what to expect since i had no pix. I would recommend them.

we saw spitz & peck, and flowers by brian. i think they're both recommended florists of the fox hollow. they had some nice arrangements, but were definitely more expensive than the other florists that we saw. ultimately, we ended up choosing burtons in melville.

Hi!! I didn't look at them because at one of the Scotto showcases someone mentioned they do not deliver. I needed the florist for the Church also and did not want someone to have to pick everything up for me. If you only need them for the hall or they changed this policy I think the flowers at Westbury Manor are AWESOME and that is evidence of their work.

Hi...we are getting married at CB, and we went with Burton's. Burton's prices are great and their flowers are beautiful. Perfect Wedding Planner is great, but they are overpriced. It is good to go and compare what each vendor is giving you.

We used the house florist at our Westbury Manor wedding last fall, and we were very happy!

They did not deliver, we just had some of the groomsmen pick up for us.

Their prices were very, very reasonable. Much less than other florists I met with.

Definitely give them a call-can't hurt!!

I just had my reception at CB and used Perfect Wedding Planner for the flowers. My regular florist said she wasn't allowed to do the centerpeices there, so I figured I'd give Perfect Wedding Planner a shot. Basically, I told them that I wanted to spend no more than $50 for each centerpiece, and they were able to give me something I loved. Any florist should do this for you if you're upfront about your budget. Overall, I think they did a beautiful job, and I was very happy with the end result. Here's what I had:

I am thinking about giving them all call (Perfect Wedding Planner) to see what they offer and if they can stay in my budget range. That is the one thing i haven't gotten to with the planning.

They did my centerpieces for me. I got married at the Westbury Manor. I found them to be the most reasonable when it came to centerpieces. I wanted something basic and I had a tight budget but they were able to work with me. My church was in Manhattan so I was planning on using another florist for all my other flowers.

i booked chris the house florist for chateau briand. they werent the cheapest i met with but i loved his ideas and when he showed me a sample of what my centerpiecve would look like that just affirmed i made the right choice. i would post a pictire when i get one on here.

I met with Chris, and he was such a nice guy. But then I went to Pedestals, and Joe blew me away with his ideas. The Pedestals price was slightly lower than Chris'. And Chris can't deliver the flowers to my house, so that's an issue for me.

I haven't made a decision yet, I have still to meet with Jack and Rose and Flower Michele.
