Okay, lets have some fun at my expense! Is everyone familiar with this?
I thought so. So here's the deal. If you're all up to a challenge!
What you need to do is create an LIWeddings.com scrap book. You'll have till March 31 to complete it and have it sent to our office. Then we will judge the scrap books. The judges will be a combination of ladies from the other offices in our building. Totally unbiased! The winner will receive the Crop-In-Style XXL including, yes I said including supplies! Entries are limited to 15 so sign up early. After we receive your entry we will reimburse you $25 for the scrapbook. Please respond to this post if you are up to the challenge!

I'm not saying that there is a tie. Just after looking at the albums there maybe. Here's a thought. Tomorrow I'm having the ladies from the adjoining offices look at the albums. If there is a tie what if we do this. When we all go out to dinner to view the albums you decide by secret ballot?

Do we have a 'when and where' for dinner yet? The secret ballot works - then we all have a chance to lobby for votes during dinner!

If there is a tie, maybe first prize can get the original prize and the other tie winner, money or a gift certificate to michaels!
I dont know if the secret ballot is good b/c then what if everyone votes for themselves or someone they know? Cant you and liz decide w/ the LIW staff?

I thought the secret ballot was for all of us to vote between the 2 finalists - or is it voting on all of them? Voting between 2 finalists would work, but if we all had one vote and all books were in contention it might be hard coming up with a consensus.

Hey everyone - I just ordered my wedding dress!!!
I've been MIA for a while but just wanted to stop by to see how it's going. I kinda had a feeling it would be tough to decide on a winner - there are some very talented women here!
As for a tie - maybe once you have the two finalists down you can have the same judges make a final decision via secret ballot. I'm sure that with all the people in your building they can help out. I do like the idea of giving the second prize winner a gift card to Michael's or AC Moore - you can't go wrong with that!
I can't wait to see everyone's work - I love to scraplift great ideas and I know that you all have plenty of great stuff!
Congrats to everyone who entered - it takes a lot to share our work and leave it open to judgement so that in itself makes us all winners!

BTW - Karen, just wanted to know if you have stock in a tape company? You win the award for the hardest package to open! Time to open - 12 minutes! Everyone else - under 60 seconds! Or is it that I'm just a spaz? Do not answer that!

I wouldn't dare answer that last question until the judging is over 12 minutes says it all anyway - there wasn't that much tape, though the post office did add more....
I just wanted you to work for your prize! Besides - do you think I wanted it to fall out in the dirt as the postman was bringing it to the door???

Thats a good suggestion. I haven't been posting anbout the dinner becuase I have company staying for another week and a half - then I'm off on a cruise 2 weeks later.
I can basically do dinner in Nassau (the more south and west the better) any night but Wednesday
Looking forward to seeing the results
