SCRAPBOOKING QUESTIONS PLEASE HELP.

I am posting this for a friend and was hoping you guys could help...

You know when you journal or give a page a title? Did you ever see those pages with really cool font and its done by computer font? How do you do that? Like how can you print on 12 x 12 paper and also, do you do it on word? But then how do you center the title so it fits? How do you journal or caption a picture using your computer?

Its a very confusing topic to me...and I am looking to you ladies to give me some clarity.

I either use Word of a font program from CreatingKeepsakes that I have. I can not print out on a 12x12 sheet, so I print out on a 8.5x11 then cut and paste on my page.

I hope that helps.

I do the same as Lisa or I cut out the size I want of the paper I want it on, stick it onto an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet with repositionable tape, put it through the printer, and then remove the smaller piece and adhere to my 12 x 12. Does that make sense? The other thing I do is reverse printing which allows me to print on 8 1/2 x 11 backwards, then use my exacto knife to cut out letters individually. This method has taken me a lot longer to get good at but allows me to use a title without a background sheet. Hope that helps.

They do have 12x12 printers but they are like $500-700

I think the Epson 2200 prints 12' and is around $400 - $500 and they have an earlier model - I think it's the 1280 which also prints 12' and I've seen refurbished models with a 1 year warranty for about $199 on line.

I do a lot of printing titles & such on vellum... so if I only have 12x12, I cut it down to 8.5x11 and use the word program, I can do color or black & white. To center, I do it just like any other document!
