I love them! I have never seen the bags and tags for them before. I am also a bit nervous about the mess.I went to a wedding where someone won big though and it was such a nice point in the reception.
Maybe if you provide a basket for them to throw the in afterwards....therefore no worries on them being on the Watermill floor.
