Screen at Reception?

Anyone getting one?

I went to JuneBabyBride's wedding and NOW I WANT ONE!!!!!!

U mean behind the DJ to post pictures of B&G, and guests throughout the night? Projection Screen?

If so, i thought about it, but it was an additional $1G that I felt I could use elsewhere.

Is this where they do a slide show of FH and you and they can also include pics when you were children.....I'd love to have that and want to surprise FH with this but not sure yet though. There is a website that does it and I'm quite sure the photographer/videographer can offer that as well.

alot of DJ's have it as an extra $$$

I'm looking for the website now. They even put music on it and it is so nice. You can do baby pictures and your relationship up to the wedding date and their format is so nice. I think this is very nice if you have a lot of OOT guests that don't know the groom or vice versa so they get to see a side of your FH or FW if they don't know them personally too well. I'm looking for it right now...

i had one and everyone loved the pictures that i showed throughout the night and also my video guy was taken pictures through out the day and showing them, on the screen. it was great for people that missed my ceremony because it was a fri afternoon

Oh my God! I loooooove this! And the prices are sooo resonable. My only problem? After thinking about it, I wouldn't be able to use that screen, because I'd want to post pictures of me & FH's deceased fathers ~ and I'm not sure that it'll be a good idea to have everyone balling their eyes out throughout the day. Plus, it'll already be at the back of my head... seeing them will just break me in half when I should be happy & glowing, ya know?

What a dilema.. lol

Our DJ is going to do one for us. We aren't telling anyone, we want it to be a surprise.

but i dont want it to interfere... it is hard to explain i guess

I soooo want to do this. Does anyone know: With retrospect video albums (or anyone else that does this) do they set up the screen and all that as well? I'm having a band, should I ask them if that's something they do?

We're doing it. It was added into our package deal at not a high cost. I'm looking forward to it.

I think if you use retrospective, you would probably need to arrange it with the catering hall to see if they have a projector available or maybe with your DJ or Photographer/Videographer. I wouldn't want to have this screen going on all night. Perhaps just at the beginning of the night...before we are introduced but I'm not really sure yet. Not sure if I will use it either but it is an idea that I have in my mind.
