have any of you done scroll invitations. I have found one website wherer they ship from india and the price was insaneeeeeee shipping alone was 316.00 LOL. Found this site and have emailed them but I wanted to know if anyone has done this. I guess I am more curious about the cost if anything. TIA (Thanks in advance).

those types of invitations are always much cheaper when done overseas. maybe you have a friend/relative that will be traveling there before your wedding day? if so, ask them to pick them up for you~

i know what you mean! i found a site, mad cheap scrolls but the shipping from India was the deal breaker at roughly $400!!!
my FMIL went overseas and found cheaper pricing (and shipping wouldn't be the case since she's going to bring it with her) BUT... we she was told by everyone there (and actually a few of my Filipino friends here) that scroll invites are the cheapest invitation you can get. since i'm inviting a lot of pinoys for my wedding, suffice it to say that scroll invites have been eliminated.
btw, the sample invites i got are really pretty and their from Scroll Wedding Invites just in case you want to check it out.

this site (click me) has a few of them. i have no idea how much it costs to have them shipped though ....
one thing you should consider when buying these (if you have a budget), is the cost of postage to send them out ... a normal envelope is about a dollar, these must be way more.

ITA with AwaitingAugust. I had a friend that did them over 8 years ago and she had told me that they not only did the invitations cost alot, but the shipping was a lot. I believe it was over $1.00 each to send out and that was a long time ago.
