Scully Estate. Opinions please!! XO
SO FH and I went to see Scully Estate/Seatuck/Wereholme Mansion this weekend. My hopes were WAY high as I am running out of options and this seems to be what I am looking for.Well, we got there and first thought- not for us. I love nature but don't want to worry about mature in a big white dress. The parking lot is NOT PAVED.. the walkway is not cement. It's more like a dirt square for the parking lot and the pathway is pebbles. I don't know what to do. When we walked in and looked around, smaller than what I want but I COULD make it work and make it really awesome I think. I could've sworn FH would be 100% no and at dinner that night he said he thinks we should really consider it. The estate outside is beautiful, the rooms are kinda cool. My main concern though is if it rains and the ground is muddy (as it WAS when we got there), my guests will hate me! The limo can pull right up so we don't worry about that but what about guests? UGHHHHHH What to dooooooo????
Any ideas or advice? ANyone been there and maybe its not such a problem like it is in my head?
Thanks ladies!

Yeah, I noticed the website wouldn't open my post.. I think the site was a bit screwy this week..That's right! The stalls are huge! I hadn't thought of that as a plus. That is very helpful. This is my number 1 choice atm. It is beautiful. I wish the ceremony room was bigger though. I think that's kinda bugging me. I have always had a vision in my head of walking down a long aisle and this isn't it but it may be best for me anyway. Checking one other church and then will make a decision. Would love to see your pics if you are willing to share any? :)
