1) A seafood bar w/ fresh shrimp, crab, clams, oysters, & lobster
or
2) A sushi bar w/ a Japanese chef making an abundance of rolls, sashimi, etc. (plus shrimp & veggie tempura)
In my opinion, I think that the sushi bar is different and will be something that guests remember, but people might eat more of the seafood. We haven't made a decision yet.

Re: Seafood vs. Sushi
This is a hard decision. We are having both a sushi station and seafood so if i had to pick one i would probably do the seafood only b/c its offers more choices even though i love sushi.

I think more people will eat the seafood.. . . a lot of people wont even try sushi. . . . . i love it but i know that my father wont even try it and hes the reason we are doing seafood cause i know most of my family will be like that.

i voted seafood. sushi tends to get too filling for me. i'd want to enjoy the entrees as well

I people will enjoy the seafood more. A lot of people won't even try sushi because they have the whole 'raw' thing in their heads.

I went with the seafood boat, I think more people will enjoy it rather than the sushi.

Re: Seafood vs. Sushi
I'm having a seafood bar. Sushi somehow turns off a lot of people, even those that eat seafood. Go figure.

Re: Seafood vs. Sushi
Seafood!!! not everyone likes sushi so if you want to have seafood there, then go with the seafood bar instead of the sushi. If you and your FH like sushi then have some but just for yourselfs.

Re: Seafood vs. Sushi
IMO i think people would go for the seafood more than the sushi, since it's not all raw, and i know personally i an super picky about where i get my sushi from

Re: Seafood vs. Sushi
I LOVE sushi and would completely appreciate that at a wedding, however, a seafood bar may be a little more 'user' friendly for all of your guests.
