sealing invitations

Hi Ladies
what did you use to seal the envelopes of your invitations? I didn't think to do self sealing ones so not sure what to use? a glue stick maybe? i'm thinking water will make a mess.

theres something called an envelope moistener. Its a a little water bottle with a sponge attached, and you squeeze it till the sponge gets a little damp and just swipe.

Although we used a damp sponge for the STDs.
We will have to see if we do the same thing for the invites as Sandr325 has a valid point.
I didn't even think about drip marks.

Its very useful and no drip marks! Staples usually carries them :)

I have one of these and used them for my save the dates and I feel like it was too wet and dripped. what do you think about using a glue stick? will it ruin the envelope?
