I planned my wedding long-distance and we used Full House Music. Joe is the BEST! He was very helpful, especially since we were long-distance. He sent us video footage of the band. I highly, highly recommend them! Most other bands will mail videos to you, upon request. Others that we looked at were: The Mystic, Tom Mulvahill, Faze Four Orchestras (very expensive). Good luck.

I would recommend Timepiece I believe they have a website here it is http://www.franklinwaynemusic.com/profiletimepiece.html. A friend of mine who actually goes on this site just used them and they were great.

Personally, I would need to hear a band live before making any decisions. Perhaps you can get a trusted friend/relative to hear a few showcases and make the decision for you. There are a short list of recommended bands on this board so use that as your guide.

I'm doing the long distance search
I've had my mom go around to a number of different band showcases and I've had videotapes sent to me. We've seen Top Shelf (Skyline), Rhapsody (Frank. Wayne), Full House (Frank. Wayne), Tony Curcio, Illusions and Current Affair. Of those, she recommended Full House, and Illusions. She's checking out Current Affair (my fav from the tape) next week. These were all in the $4-5000 range. If you want any contact info, let me know. I heard great things about Timepiece, but they weren't available for my date.

For Lisa T.
Full House gets my vote! They were wonderful, and Joe was very accommodating. They also learned 3-4 specialty songs for our wedding, which was very important to us.Welcome New Vendors
