Searching for perfect foundation

Original post by alina

I am trying to find a light, non-greasy and non-runny foundation for my wedding in July. I normally don't wear one, but would like to for the special day. Any recommendations?

Thank you

I like Neutrogena, and Almay products... but I hear MAC is really good as well.

Re: Searching for perfect foundation

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone's suggestions.

I tried Clinique, MAC, Armani and Lancome...

Clinique Superbalanced foundation worked for me

I have found MAC to be too heavy (both the liquid and solid foundations), Lancome came off too quickly, and Armani was a bit cakey, although had the best color shade for me.

Thanks everyone

I was just going to suggest Clinique.. i just bought it again.. i was using cheapo brands but i felt sooo heavy and i was breaking out BAD.. then i went back to clinique, and i dont even feel like i am wearing anything at all, plus my skin is starting to look and feel much better..

I like Christian Dior. I know its sounds ritzy but it really made me look very flawless and natural. I was very happy with the results.

I have tried a lot of foundations over the years. I have eczema that can break out around my eyes so I have to be extremly careful. Plus I am on stage a lot and have to where makeup that will last. I have found that Clinque superbalenced is light and lasts for hours. Mac studio fix does make a get foundation/powder that I use also. The only thing about the Mac is that it can get heavy if you apply it incorrectly. Hope this helps.

Does the Clinique have SPF in it? I dont really use foundation, I use a covergirl base that goes on as liquid but turns to powder. I dont want anything heavy, but am starting to notice some fine lines around my eyes, and am wondering if its b.c my makeup does not have SPF in it.

Some of Clinque's products do have SPF. I can not remember if the superbalanced does but I know that their City Base has SPF.

I use Stila. It can be expensive ($30) but it is really light and clean feeling.
