Searching for perfect foundation

Searching for perfect foundation

I am trying to find a light, non-greasy and non-runny foundation for my wedding in July. I normally don't wear one, but would like to for the special day. Any recommendations?

Thank you

are you doing your own makeup??? I use MAC I find their studio fix to be wonderful.

when you find one, let me know - finding the perfect foundation that covers but that doesn't make my skin feel gross is becoming my life's mission...

Shamma, I would like to try doing my own makeup!!!

When I do put make up on now, its powder, blush, and lipstick, with occasional eye shaddow and mascara...

I hate how foundation feels on the face, but would like to give it a try, while I still have some time.

I'll go and try mac, my sister just discovered their lipglosses, and raves over them...

Any other suggestions?

Just wanted to let you know that if you go to the MAC counter, they'll give you a free bridal makeup trial or they'll give you a makeover if you buy $50 worth of their product. I got my makeup done for my e-party there.

Good Luck!

I like Clinique foundation. It is not heavy at all.
They give a free trial. If you decide to use them, you have to buy the make-up that she doesnt have, or something you will want as your own, such as lipstick, etc.

I use Mac foundation, although I discovered it after my wedding (for my wedding, I used Prescriptives). I absolutely love Mac, although I use the powder, not the liquid.

I second Clinique - it's very light and stays on for hours....

I love Perscriptives Virtual Skin foundation. It is very light and non-greasy,

I completely agree Rebecca!! I use STUIDO GEAR and it leaves me feeling slimey--like gooy--I HATE spending a ton of money on foundation-but for the big day I am going to to go all out--BY LETTING SOMEONE ELSE DO IT!! LOL

Glad for the recommendations!!! I also would love to find one that lasts allllll day! That's why I'll leave it to the professionals!!

Dior has great foundation, it is very light but makes my skin look flawless.

I also think MAC has the best coverage & feel.

Another vote for clinique

I originally was going to try to do my own makeup as well and went to clinique and Mac and a few others and realized that by the time I bought everything I needed it was WAY cheaper to have someone do it for me.

Good luck!

A vote for Mac, they are the only ones that I wear in terms of foundation. Actually they have that Studio Max make up that is like foundation in compact form, totally non-greasy with perfect coverage

Re: Searching for perfect foundation

What kind of mac foundation do you guys like? Dry or liquid? which is better for hot summer days?

I tried Clinique yesterday, the liquid kind, and liked it, and will have a mac makeover today (at saks).
I am excited.

Have you tried Revlon Colorstay (regular of light)?

Re: Searching for perfect foundation

I have recently started using Photogenic by Lancome, and I love it. I have very oily skin, and while this foundation goes on very light, it doesn't allow any oil to break through for HOURS!
