i need a second job...has anyone worked for sears? how is the pay?
im thinkin its good cause my FH is always shoppin there so well get a discount

i don't think its any better than the pay at other retail stores...i remember i applied to be a cashier at their hardware store while i was an undergrad and they were going to pay me $8.50/hr...not great. you could try applying to a bunch of places like searsand see who pays the most.

dont work there!!!i work there in for three years before leavin in o5 , they dont pay well, right now, they might not give you any hours to work with!!!

Depends on the position you're looking for...but my sister works at the Hicksville Sears. She makes fair money...MORE than minimum wage BUT the hours are not that great!!!

I worked there when I was in HS (over 10 years ago) and the pay stunk. They where very flexible with hours.

i don't know what your schedule is but as crazy as it sounds looks on Craig's list or in local papers to babysit. It's off the books and you can charge 12-15 dollars an hour. This is what I do and and it's great extra cash. Plus the parents feel very comfortable with someone a bit older and responsible. Give it thought!

I worked at Sears for five years while in high school and college, and it was horrible! The pay was horrible, they gave me ok hours, and the discount was only 10%(not sure what it is now...)
