Seating Chart

Seating Chart

Things are SO SLOW at work today, so I did a prelim seating chart for the guests invited and it wasn't at bad as I thought it would be. That being said, there are six people I can't find seats for. Two of the couples I HAVE to sit together because they won't know anyone else at the wedding, but there are no tables with 4 seats available. This part is going to really, really suck, I can tell.

Ugh I'm so not looking forward to this! FH's cousin wasn't supposed to be coming which was going to make his mom's sides table a perfect 12. So of course we just received his RSVP saying that he will be attending!! FH was like 'ohhh that's sooo awesome!' and I was like 'WHY WHY WHY?!?!?' hahaha

We kept having to shuffle people around before agreeing on our final seating arrangments. We used stickies and grouped certain people who we knew had to sit together automatically (i.e, work people)

don't worry about it and just leave them on the side... you have to keep in mind that you placed people at tables who might RSVP no, so you will end up having to redo a few things anyway... and those 6 that you don't have seats for might end up not coming too

How funny (since we are date twins) that I did a preliminary one as well. At first it was a breeze then I kept remembering people and saying 'Oh f--k, they need to go in that table' but then there wasn't any room left.

....this is gonna be fun

Don't stress too much about the preliminary seating chart. Someone else on the board recommended to make one and said it was okay to kind of over pack a table because you never know who will reply 'no'. I had this happen with someone that sort of invited herself to our wedding and now she's going to Miami this weekend, so she freed up two spots where I had people 'in limbo' as I called it.
