seating charts - what program to used to make yours!

What should I use, wedding wire or old school post it notes on a giant board? Or maybe just plain excel?

I used wedding wire but I had logged in the names as RSVP's came so I didn't have to sit there and enter everyone at the same time.

i'm using a poster board with cut outs set up to the layout of my room (tables, dj, bar, dance floor)

i put lables of everyones names on T-pins so i can stick them around the table and move them around easier.
i also have them color coded...red for my family, blue for FH's and yellow for friends and coworkers.
