Re: seating question??
Ours will be sitting with their dates, for us that was the whole point of not having them at the dias. So, we have a Groomsmen table w/ guests and a Bridesmaids table w/ guests

Re: seating question??
I am seating my bridal party with their dates. FH & I will sit together and then our bp and their dates will take up about 2 tables.

Re: seating question??
My Fh an I have been back and forth on this issue. We are not having a dias or sweetheart tables. We just figured being that the majority of the BP is family they will sit with their families. Our friends will all sit together. Hopefully it will work out!

Sitting with their dates. I have been a date of a bridal party member and there is nothing worse than being at a wedding and not sitting with your date.

Definately, definately let your bridal party sit with their dates! They will all have a much better time.

Re: seating question??
my FH and I are at a separate table alone and my bridal party is dispersed amongst family and friends...still close up....I hope its ok, but I thought everyone would want to sit with their dates and who they know....

Re: seating question??
I haven't done my seating yet, but I will definitely keep the bridal party with their dates, I was in a wedding where my fiance knew noone and we were seated separately - it was awful! Definitely keep them together, then decide whether you want them with their friends or with the rest of the bp.

Re: seating question??
Hubby and I had our own table and the rest of the bridal party sat with their dates. It is much more enjoyable that way

Re: seating question??
We are mixing the bridal party in with the rest of the guests and their friends and/or family. Their dates will sit with them.

Re: seating question??
I am also mixing the bridal party up. Everyone will be seated with their husbands/dates. I think it is awful to sit at a wedding by yourself and have your date/spouse sitting someplace else.I am also not sitting my bridal party all together since not everyone knows each other very well.

Re: seating question??
2 bridal party tables. I will have the bridal party sit at one of the two tables with their dates. The tables will be on each side of the the table where FI and I are sitting.

SOmething different
We dispersed most of the BP with their dates and whichever table had their friends or family. We sat with our MoH and BM and their dates at a table for 6. It prevented one of us from sitting by ourselves if the other went to the bathroom or something.

I agree with everyone, I think tht having them sit separately went 'out' a while ago. Why do people want this, I don't know!

Re: SOmething different
This is a debate between my FH and I. I say that the BP should sit with their dates. But FH says that they should sit a the Dais with us (serated from their dates) because 'that is the way it is done'. Our BP dates all know each other, but till I totally disagree with him. But we still have 1 year and half to decide. So we'll see.
