I have a BUNCH of questions about centerpieces. I'd appreciate any insight you may have :)
Background: We're having our wedding in March of 2013 at Smithtown Landing in the Merrywood Cottage (their bigger grand ballroom), which hold up to 160 people.
We're very early-on, but I expect to invite about 125 people and expect anywhere from 90-110 guests to show up. If it's any help, I believe they are all round tables, except the bride and groom's table.
Here are my questions: 1) In your experience, what is a good guess as to how many people will be seated per table? I'm trying to gauge how many centerpieces I might need.
2) What is an appropriate centerpiece budget, as in how much do they normally cost?
3) Are there any other tables besides the guest tables to think about when ordering centerpieces?
I'm most interested in flower-less centerpieces, as I'd like guests to be able to re-use them. I have an idea already, but I'm just trying to work out the details.
Thank you in advance! :)

Re: Seating question for Centerpieces!
Try calling your RH and asking how many they seat at a table. Good luck with your centerpieces.

Re: Seating question for Centerpieces!
Usually its about 10 ppl per table or they can do less if you want. As far as everything else im not sure. Maybe you should start contacting some florists to get quotes on what it is you are looking for.

Re: Seating question for Centerpieces!
It definitely depends on your RH, we had some tables that sat max 10 and others that sat max 12. If they are round, usually they seat 12.
For centerpieces it really depends on what you are thinking of getting, I had half high half low with tall branch cps with hanging candles, and those usually run around $150-200 per CP. If you are thinking of doing something more along the lines of candles, it will be a lot less. HTH!
ETA: You may want to decorate your escort card table with some kind of arrangement and also think about flowers for your cake/cake table.

Re: Seating question for Centerpieces!
Typically a max per table is 12
Our RH had many sized tables, and we had tables with anywhere from 8-12 at a table
We used B urton's and the flowers looked great and you didn't even notice that the tables were different sizes
I think that because we did low, full centerpieces they worked with the multiple sized tables

Re: Seating question for Centerpieces!
we're at SLCC also, I believe there are some oval tables as well if you choose to use them. I also believe the tables hold anywhere from 8-12 ppl depending on how many you would like per table. Some can have more than others, its up to you.
