Instead of using place cards I want to use this thing I saw at a wedding. It's a big board on like an easel and the names of your guests are in calligraphy with the table number.
Does anyone know what this is and where I can find it? I don't know the proper terminology.

Yes I am doing the exact same thing. My florist is doing it Pedestals. Its 550.00 and it takes about 2-3 weeks and I dont think you have to have them as your florist to do it either, its an outside company that does it for them. when you walk in turn to your left and the board is on display, we are doing it that exact same way, with the monogram - thats our theme- good luck! by the way did you like it better than the cards? was it easier to see than waiting for people to move to get your card? Im curious , I have never seen this done. thanks!

Pedestals is my florist too!!! I did see it but it seemed small and expensive. My FSIL had it at her wedding and it was gorgeous. I like it soooo much better then those cards.

Great!!! I love Pedestals, which one did you go to? the one in Mineola had a huge chart . they also have different one they told me.

I have seen the scroll done before as well as other methods of seating people. Sometimes there will be a group of attendants there to look up your name for you and seat you. It is a formal way of doing things but I like it!
