Second Chances...wanted to share
Ladies, I just wanted to share my story b/c I'm feeling so happy right now and my bf really spoiled me this Christmas and I wanted to share how lucky I feel....
I met bf in 2002 and after a few months we moved in together. We were together for about a year when he changed jobs and his schedule changed and he was majorly stressed. This stress affected our relationship and I started seeing friends more and got more involved with my job. A little over a year we grew apart and decided mutually to end things.
For a year he had dated his a girl and I had dated 2 guys. During this time we had spoke on the phone a few times and went out to lunch 2 or 3 times (but it was always just friendly, with a little flirting).
This summer he invited me to his cousin's party and I went, but informed him I had a bf and was going b/c I missed his cousins and parents and wanted to see everyone and it was strictly as friends.
Well 2 months later things fizzled w/ the guy I had been seeing and he had happened to call and we went to dinner and all the old feelings were there. We started dating at that point. That was the end of September and things have been going strong ever since.
This time around we are communicating so much better and we truly appreciate what we have in e/o. We're again talking of engagement and hoping for a future together.
I just wanted to share and say second chances can work and there's a reason for everything.
