Second Guess Wedding Dress.....AGAIN!!!!!!!

I AM THE WORST......................
Ok, my first dress I fell in love with was at Vera Wang and my mom put down close to 2k right there on the spot....
Some months later we were driving by Pricilla of Boston and saw a pretty dress in the window...
I was like 'let's go in and just take a look at the pretty dresses'....WELL....I fell in love again and my Mom even liked this one better so we left...I thought about and we ended up going back and putting another 2K on this dress....
(Completely lost the deposit at Vera Wang)

NOW I AM SECOND GUESSING AGAIN..........

AM I THE ONLY ONE??????????????? At this point, I have no choice and I HAVE to wear the PofB Dress or my Mom will KILL me....

Wait - are you saying that your Mom lost $2000 on the first dress???? Wow - your Mom is very generous, but my advice would be to not look at any more dresses and just keep the 2nd one.

i think a lot of us have seen dresses we really liked after we bought ours. but i try not to think about it. just remember how much u loved the one u have. i mean do you really want you or your mom to lose another 2k?

I second guess all the time! But I really LOVE my dress. The fact is...you're going to keep finding beautiful dresses...there are so many of them out there! Is there anyway to just keep yourself out of bridal salons and even magazines until the wedding comes? Maybe this will end the temptations!

Have you gone for a fitting yet?!
i am sure you will look gorgeous in the Pricilla dress- listen, we all look at other dresses, reception sites, favors, invitations and second guess ourselves and think 'oh i like that one better'- stop looking at dresses - i am sure you and you mom chose the right one!

And getting another dress is not even in question....I CAN'T.....I HAVE TO WEAR THE PofB!!!

I just want to know if I am crazy or do other people wonder if they made the right choice????

Jessica, your dress is beautiful!!! I'm sure you will be stunning in it! You are not the only person who second-guesses. I actually haven't yet (it's early!) but I know alot of other brides who have. I think it's natural.

Sage10.03 - I see dresses every day that I like as much or better than mine too.....but I just keep thinking that, no matter what, I am always going to see something I like more! So it makes sense to stick with what you already have - you picked it for a reason, and I am SURE that it looks great on you or you would have never picked it!

I have been second guessing my dress for months!!! I don't have the money to get a new one either. It's also too late. oh well. There is a reason why we chose the dresses that we did and when we try them on again, hopefully we will remember that reason.

I completely second guessed myself about everything and still do... I am dress-less at the moment, and I thought I had this done already. But I never put any money down - your mom is losing $2k every time you change your mind!!

And I've seen your gown before - its sooooo BEAUTIFUL! (in case you need some convincing)

It's against the rules to even look at pictures of other dresses after you put a $2000 down for a dress you picked! Actually going into a store to look at real dresses in person: major, MAJOR offence! Always starts problems! Very bad idea!

everyone second guesses! Stop torturing yourself and your mom and let us see the Pricilla dress!

and I'm not obsessing at all....just having second thoughts....not to mention the reason my Mom was willing to let the other deposit go was b/c she really liked the PofB dress better!

Why didn't you just pay of the rest of the balance on the Vera Wang and take the dress...then sell it on Ebay or something? Do you at least have a store credit?

I think we all have second thoughts, but in my case, I'd go back to the salon and try my (sample)dress on and fall in love with that dress all over again.. not another one.. lol

Honey, STOP looking at other dresses. lol

I will say, however, that you have wonderful taste, so whichever dress you decide, it'll be breathtaking!
