It's so funny that you mention this. I was just saying the same thing last nite to one of my bridesmaids. I ordered my dress with a sweet heart top but now that i look @ the pics i took when i tried it on i think i would have been better off with the straight across top. Instead of freaking out and totally deciding i hate my dress i think i am going to try to find a different necklace. The one i have on in the pic is a reg. pearl necklace, i htink i am going to try to find one that had a slight drop in the front to help with the sweet heart top. i dont know what else to do

First of all, its going to fit so much better when its in your size. Its a STUNNING dress, and you're going to be a beautiful, hot, sexy, not-boxy bride in it! STOP STOP STOP.

it seems like a common feeling after buying the dress to second guess it... but just remember its not the dress that makes the girl- its the girl that makes the dress- you will be a beautiful bride! so try not to worry
Thanks... When i tried it on I *knew* it was the one, but when i look at the pics, i'm like... ummm... why did i pick that dress?
I'm going through the same thing!! it sux!!

i know it's hard, but try not to 2nd guess it too much! I did that with my dress (heck I STILL do it, even 6 months after my wedding!) But your dress is gorgeous! So when you see other dresses you like, try to just remind yourself how excited you are to wear your dress!

my dress... I'm not sure if I've posted about this, but ever since I ordered my dress, I keep second guessing it... I originally wanted NO beading and ended up with a dress with a TON of beading... I LOVE the dress from the back and I love the bottom... but everytime I look at the dress from the front I feel boxy and like there is too much beading on the front and it's so plain on the bottom.... When I look at the pictures, I'm like, that isn't what I remember seeing when I had it on, it didn't look so 'beady'....
I don't even know why I'm upset, it's not in the budget to get another dress... I guess I just needed a little vent.
thanks for listening.
I'm in the same boat I decided that i'm going to try to alter my dress as much as possible to make it more.....me! But I know that would be difficult in your situation...I have no advice sorry
But even though this probably doesn't matter, your dress is absolutely beautiful and you look great in it!

Re: second guessing...
First off your dress is AMAZING and I'm sure you will look amazing in it! I definitely know how you feel though, because I get the same way about my dress. It was the first dress I tried on the first time I went dress shopping and I only tried on a few that day. I keep thinking, why the h*ll did I buy it so quickly. You mentioned beading and I have the opposite issue. I see your dress and think, wow look at that detail, where my dress is so plain. BUT, everyone keeps telling me that just about every bride feels this way at some point or another, but when your day comes, you will love it all over again. Like someone else posted, there are just too many to choose from and we get confused. Don't worry though, I'm certain you made the right choice!

for crying out loud im even still doubting the BM dresses even though i like them its the fact that most of us have close to 2 years to dwell on if we made the right choice!

Re: second guessing...
I just checked out your pics and I honestly think it's beautiful and you look great in it. it does have a lot of beading but it balances out b/c the bottom doesn't.
I know how your feeling though. it's typical.

Re: second guessing...
I have been second guessing my dress too! I do like my dress, but I have lost and I am planning to lose more weight so I would want a completely different style, more fitted. My FH tells me to just get another dress, but I can't really justify spending more $ on another dress AND i am worried that they will screw up the alterations

Thank you thats really sweet!! eveyone has said that but sometimes i just HATE IT but like i said i dwell on things if i have too much time! and thats exactly what i do so i have to try and ignore it! ha ha ha... thats why i had put doing anything for the wedding on hold for a quite a few months (hence me being behind now) cuz i was dwelling on EVERYTHIGN! You'll be fine! it will pass i promise! plus it looks awesome on you!

Re: second guessing...
I think that if you feel this way you should change it and do it fast! You have plenty of time to order a new one and if you order from the same place, they will probably work out a deal for you and give you back all or some of your deposit towards the new one.
