I keep second guessing my wedding dress. I LOVE MY MAGGIE....but when people see pictures of it...they make comments about how it is 'different' and its not 'white'. I keep thinking that I should go back to the big poofy traditional wedding dress. Please re-assure me that my dress is perfect for me....i feel like it was made for me. . . . should I get a new dress or stick with this one:

Who cares what others say -- as long as you love it. I think it is beautiful and you look beautiful in it. I don't see what is not traditional about it.
My dress isn't white or ivory -- its gold/champagne color.
Go with what makes you happy!

That being said...I LOVE LOVE LOVE your dress!!!!!! I agree it does look made for you and it is absolutely traditional and soooooo GORGEOUS!!!!!!

I think your dress is beautiful and it looks soooo great on you.
Since when is different a bad thing. My FH is sitting next to me so I can't tell you to much about my dress but it is similar.
I don't know if it matters, but I showed him the pictures and he said that it was pretty.

The dress is diamond white over light gold. I love the dress....it is paid for and has already been delivered (I bought it in Delaware). The dress is sitting at my grandfathers house here in NY (he is very proud that he gets to be the keeper of the dress, but he refuses to look at it until the wedding day, he is sooo cute).
I love the dress......but I am the kind of person that wants to make everyone else happy.

I guess it also doesnt help that I was watching 'Say Yes to the Dress' on TLC an hour ago and saw all these girls trying on dresses.

YOUR DRESS IS GORGEOUS AND YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL.........i have done this with my dress as well, i felt it had to much detail, so i tried other dresses and realized, i love my dress, i had a girl tell me she didnt like it and that it was to busy for me, and that i looked to chubby, i was really hurt but i love my dress..

Best advice i can give... go try it on.
I had a week of HATING my wedding gown... i went and tried on the sample this week..and fell in love all over again.
it's normal to second guess it.

I know...he is telling everyone that he talks to that I brought my dress to his house to keep until the wedding....I havent told him yet that I want to get ready at his house the day of the wedding since neither of my parents live on LI...I thought it would be special!
