Ugh.... I need help everyone. My FH is in Barbados, he agreed that I could go ahead and book a RH without him. So, I went to the showcase at the Swan Club and loved it. I booked it a few days later after seeing a few others. We were on the phone today and he told me he felt left out of the wedding plans, I feel so awful, and I am starting to have second thoughts about our RH. Has anyone been to a wedding in the Garden Room at the Swan Club and have pics for me to show him and convince both him and myself that I made the right decision?

No the big room is the Camelot room. The garden room is the one with the private entrance

Uncles Retirement dinner from the NCPD and part of the NYPD after 9/11 was there. Love it...... don't know the room though...thought the whole place was nice!

I'm also on the fence about the swan club-i loved it the 1st time we saw it; but now I'm having second thoughts. Here's some pictures that i found i want to give credit to who took them but like always i don't remember which LIW bride originally posted them.
Have you looked at any other places?? Was the Swan Club the first place you liked so you booked it? THe grounds are beautiful; and he price tag is very attractive!
For what it's worth, we went to a tasting and the food was excellent. We ended up deciding on another place for a variety of reasons, but I don't think you're making a mistake. We would have had the garden room. Here are pix that I took while we were there.
From the pictures the place looks beautiful. I've never been there, but try looking under the bride reviews, I'm sure someone got married there and might be able to give you some insight. everything can be really overwhelming especially if you're going it yourself. Take a deep breathe...everything is going to be ok!

Just know that it is very important u tell him next time, sometimes guys seem as if they are not into details but some of them Are...

I totally agree with the fact that the grounds are gorgeous FH and I along with my FMIL went to see this place is very nice and the fact that you can take so many pictures makes it even more beautiful...However what we didn't like is the fact that 3 weddings go on at the same time and we felt we were going to be left out in the cold since our reception is only of 150 people and you know that in every hall that they do more than one wedding at a time the RH will always take care of the bigger party the best. But again this is just my personal opinion. No reason to cry, like other LIW brides say if he feels left out tell him to join the FB group of the Swan Club they have many pics and he will love it!!! It is very pretty and elegant..Can't comment about the food though because FH and I cancel the reservations for the Bridal Show since we had already booked our venue. Good luck and everything will turn out good girl don't worry! and if you do decide to cancel it make sure what's the percentage that they will keep of your down payment and think about it if is worth losing the money if you do? Once again good luck! and keep us updated !

You definitely made the right decision!
You can't second guess yourself or else you will find yourself doing it with every wedding decision you make... trust your instincts!
There was something about the swan club that you fell in love with the first time you saw it - just keep that in mind and know that you made the right decision!
