Secret Bride for 09 Shower

Hey Girls,

Are we still planning on doing secret bride for the 09 shower? When the original shower was still in the planning stages I was getting the secret bride info together - should I continue for our new shower? I am totally down to do whatever so just let me know if I should start up Secret Bride Part Duex for the new and MUCH improved 09 shower!!!!!

For those of you who do not know what secret bride includes - its like a secret santa using our registries. I'll collect everyone's registry info with a cut off date - then give everyone a bride to buy a gift for. Let me know if you would like me to head this up - I'll be happy to do so.

Im so excited too!! I think you should definitely do it, I dont see a reason why you shouldnt.

I think you would be a great person to be in charge of the Secret Bride thing.


As far as committees go, I'm not sure if others are needed. Colleen got all the sponsors, Tina got the place, Gina is collecting the deposits... what else is there? I think we all agreed games would be more of a headache than they're worth and we dont need centerpieces or anything.

I have a game in mind....we should randomly pick facts about a bride and have someone guess who it is

I def think we should do a Secret Bride!!! We should put a price range on it so everyone doesn't break the bank or feel obligated to spend too much, or feel bad that they are spending too little...

It'll be so much fun to get an 'early' gift from our registries!! Now I just have to make one

Thanks girls - I'll start with the list from the deposit thread but I may some help making sure I don't leave anyone out. Also, anyone that reads this and is going to the shower - start sending my your registry info!!!!

Should we cap it at $25? I think that is a far amount but I would want everyone to be comfortable

guys i just want you to know that there is a special vendor and i want to keep it a secret and its gonna take up some time ....so i dont know how much time we will have for alot of games and stuff,
