Are we still planning on doing secret bride for the 09 shower? When the original shower was still in the planning stages I was getting the secret bride info together - should I continue for our new shower? I am totally down to do whatever so just let me know if I should start up Secret Bride Part Duex for the new and MUCH improved 09 shower!!!!!

For those of you who do not know what secret bride includes - its like a secret santa using our registries. I'll collect everyone's registry info with a cut off date - then give everyone a bride to buy a gift for. Let me know if you would like me to head this up - I'll be happy to do so.

I think this is where we ran into trouble last time. Although it is a 'shower' I'm sure we'll all have our own with decorations... for this one I think simplicity is best.

Could not have said this better myself. I think the vendors that Colleen has lined up will do more than enough decorating for us.

Last time was to many people doing to many things i think. I guess what i should have said was : can i donate toward the decorations??? But it seems like its all handled.. & well i might add!

Decoration idea!
With the decorations, I have an idea...so it doesnt get too over crowded everyone can be involved
I went to a shower where, each person brought two things, a piece of lingeri and a cooking utensil.
They strung string around the room and we then used clothes pins to put each thing up. There was only around 50 of us but it looked pretty awesome.
There were two brides at the shower, and everyone wrote the bride they were related/knows name on a piece of paper and put it in a jar... then someone picked whose name would bring home all the things...
Maybe we could do something similar where we have a lottery and split all the items three ways?
There was also another shower I went to that had NO centerpieces... instead, each person was asked to bring a ring pop with them. When we got there, we all were told to open the ring pops and we put them all into a center vase... it looked pretty cool, except i ate mine
