Secrets Excellence

Any one every been to Secrets in Mexico or Punta Cana? We are supposed to go to Sandals in St Lucia but now I hear they are doing renovations so we may switch.

I see great reviews on the Secrets resorts, but I read one that said the water at the one in Mexico is not that nice.

Can you switch to one of the other Sandal's in St. Lucia like the Grande or the Halcyon?

Well We are supposed to stay at the Grande for the first 4 nights then switch over to the Regency. But the grande is sold out for the last 4 nights of our HM and we are not interestind in the Halcyon

We are going to Ladera Resort in St. Lucia. It is beautiful and they offer all-inclusive. ladera.com.

Ladera looks beautiful, but it is too far from the beach. I want to be right on the water!

But those rooms with only 3 walls look soo cool!

I havent' been there, but I've heard Royal Hideaway in Mexico is supposed to be super-nice and have a great beach

I have never been there but we have a friend who went to the one in Punta Cana and said that it was the best place that he has ever been (he's been to a lot of places/islands).

My friend just went to the one in Mexico on the Riveria Maya and said it was really nice. The food was good & so was the service.

Jill, we just got back from vacation and I have to say, St. John is THE most beautiful island I have ever seen. You can fly to St. Thomas than take a 10 min ferry ride over. Highly recommend it!

My friends went to Secrets Excellence in Punta Cana for their honeymoon and said it was amazing. Told us the staff treated them like royalty. It's one of our options for our Anniversary this year.
