Has anyone booked their honeymoon at a Secrets resort? If so we are just beginning to look into honeymoon options and it seemed like a nice place. Any info would be great! TIA!

We went to Secrets in DR for our honeymoon in February and LOVED it! Do a search for my pics under Valentinegirl...I got married February 14. Do the search for the 16th to see HM pics. Its really beautiful in DR! Karissa

Hi, My Fiance and I went to Punta Cana in DR June of this year. We stayed at the all inclusive Secrets resort. It was absolutely beautiful. She staff is very nice, and they are clean. you can't beat the beach, and the extra excursions you can book. (we went snokling with nurse sharks and sting rays!) it was so fun! and not that expensive. it was $3000 for both of us 7 nights!
One but, the food wasn't that great. It was good, but not great. Most of the time we were on the beach all day and missed peak time for lunch and breakfast because we slept until 10 (when breakfast was over) if I'm not mistaken they have pizza open all the time. But it's nothing to brag about.
All in all I would recomend it to EVERYONE but, don't go there if you're big on food. Hope that helps.

One more thing, the country is very poor but once you get to the resort it's like another world.don't get discouraged along the ride to the resort.
And, a lot of the food was fried so if you like that type of food it might not be so bad to you. My fiance and I didn't like it that doesn't mean everyone won't
The french restaurant they have there we thought was the nicest. But you have to make reservations to eat early in the day otherwise you'll have to wait!
Wrote too much already. Can you tell I liked it there?
