they were just wildflowers.
it didn't specify.

doing one per couple, because i'm also painting flower pots, and doing that for every person is too much (for me anyway!)

depending on how many people rsvp, maybe i can do one per person! lol (making 125 favors)

I got my seeds in bulk from Flower Art & Soul

I am putting about a tablespoon and a half into 3'x4' organza bags, that I bought on e-bay. I am then putting them in a lavander painted 3' terra cotta pot with the saucer as the lid and tieing the pot with a nice ribbon.

I bought forget-me-not's. I paid $15 per pound. I bought 2 pounds which was way more than enough.

I am printing cards to go inside the pot with care instructions.

I am printing a tag for the outside that says:

A packet of Forget-Me-Not seeds to plant in a row
Just as our new life begins they too will grow
Please plant them to remember our day
and watch our love blossom along the way
Thank You for sharing our special day

i remember seeing your pots that you painted (i hope that was you)....good idea..I would not have the patience..we are doing a donation also.

thats a nice idea.
I was thinking of doing the donations, but everyone kept bugging me that i HAD to paint something for the wedding! It's actually relaxing to me.... and i only have 24 more to paint and I AM DONE!!!
(i just posted a pic before of the bella terra ones in the 'flower seeds for favors' (?) thread.)

ok here's what I did:

I bought the small glassine envelopes from blissweddingsmarket.com. I went to the pet store and bought bird seed, and then I filled them and sealed the bag with a heart shaped silver sticker! Turned out nice.

I am planning on doing this for my favors.. I also want to buy terra cotta pots for them... where did you get the pots? I saw Michaels was having a sale on them this week, but I still have a while to go... FM me with any info. THanks..
