I cannot see him before I feel that that is the whole point of it all. Him seeing me in the white dress and then taking the pics. What about you girls.

I do fitness and been in mags. and all the dresses that I have tried on with beadings and all just weren't me, I was getting so depressed and people were telling me 'did I cry' when I tried on dresses??? and I was like YEAH because I can't find any that look right on my body style!!!!! So the lady at Lillettes' picked this one out and I tried it on and it was all over!

Definitely seeing eachother before the ceremony! Our ceremony is at 7:30pm and it would be dark by the time we took pics after that. Plus, we want to be at cocktail hour and not miss any part of our day for pics. We don't want to feel rushed either. So no we can take pics in the afternoon at the beach!!!

We are seeing each other before. I didn't want to at first, but we have no time between our ceremony and the cocktail hour, and we don't want to miss the reception. So we are taking photos starting at 10:00 a.m.
Your dress is lovely, absolutely lovely! I didn't cry trying on dresses, but I did get a very still, serious feeling when I saw mine. That 'this is it' feeling I've heard about.

We are seeing each other before the ceremony. We will be taking pictures at the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport.

My Ceremony is a 7:30, so i have, actually, no choice but to see him. I want pictures in the daylight also. I want pictures and lots of them that will last a life time because when you get old those pictures will all be worth it.
The Jewish Faith does it all the time. I'm Catholic though.

Before hand, doing the surprise thing, he'll know nothing until he turns around & sees me, it's your wedding DAY and not your wedding moment - (as one bride has mentioned) - so the first time you see each other should be as special as if you were walking down the aisle and seeing each other.
My main thing was that I love photography and really want beautiful un-rushed pictures to enjoy long after the wedding day. The only way I could have it is taking them before the ceremony. I got over the childhood dream ! LOL

We are going to see each other before hand, but someone posted that the photographer arranged it to capture that first look. So I am going to have him do that as well.

I feel like I have to see my FH at the isle..I think it takes away from the whole point of it all if you see each other before.
