Seeing FH down the aisle or before for the first time

Ok i noticed in the 'wedding day' thread a couple of people saying 'seeing their Fh for the first time walking down the aisle' so it seems like a decent amount is doing that...Ive noticed alot of people now see eachother beforehand to take pics.

I am also gonna wait for FH to see me the first time walking down the aisle

Curious who is waiting and who is doing it before hand

awww you can come anytime...I mean its just the year were getting married that shouldnt separate people lol

Our ceremony doesnt actually start til 7pm

So our cocktail hour is right afterwards. then reception

I just feel we will have the whole day to hang out together, take pics,get ready and relax before we get married.
We live together and have our house already so there arent going to be any surprises, we both know what we are getting into lol

fh refuses to see me before and take pictures...which i had originally wanted to do but i think now im excited to wait. we're putting a bigger gap between ceremony and ch so that we can get pictures in.

some guests might not like this...but we're providing stuff before the ch...drinks and cheese/fruit/crackers...so hopefully they dont complain too much.

see we dont! we never lived out of the parents house.. (college doesnt count) and hes really traditional in that sense.. like i said if this is ONE thing with the whole wedding planning i can do for him i think its worth it.

before the wedding we are taking pics so we can enjoy the cocktail/reception

we extended our cocktail hour because FH refused to see be b4 ceremony and i didnt want to miss all the food...happy medium we both get what we want

I really wanted to wait until the walk down the aisle. Besides it being highly unlikely we'd be able to squeeze in the pictures and then I thought, OK it's cute to wait but it's not bad luck to see each other before (at least I don't believe it to be). The first time we see each other will be set up and we can probably take a few minutes in the bridal suite to actually spend a minute alone and exchange gifts.

me too! i have contemplated doing it before, but we'll have plenty of time for pictures and all that other stuff.Plus i want to keep it traditional and cant wait to see the look on FHs face as i walk down the aisle

i do not think my marriage will fail if i do see him before....however this is one place I just want to stick with tradition!!

i want to see him for the first time down the aisle... and thats how its going to be as of right now. for pics.. we may have no choice so we will set it up so that i dont see him before that and the photog. captures the moment. like he has to turn around to see me kinda thing. it makes me cry just thinking about it.. thats the most speical thing for me!
