Hello brides - I need help. I am looking for a hair stylist and makeup artist (can be two different people) for my wedding on 10/6/2012. I am not a make-up person...I am happy with just moisturizer & my cat-eye black liner. It's quite simple. If I had to pick a celebrity whose style I most admire (and tend to look like) it would be Zooey Deschanel. My wedding is vintage/gold coast style so I need soft & romantic. I really need a makeup artist that is down with the vintage look and will get me. The some with the hair - I can't have anything tight or 'perfect'. It needs to be loose and romantic and classic.
HELP!
I also can't afford to pay $250 for makeup for one day (omg...so ridic)!

For makeup I would highly recommend MakeUpByMeadow - after trials with 4 different people, she was the only one who really understood what I meant when I said understated and natural looking makeup.

There is a bride on here who posted in 2012 Brides pics of her 2 trials and the one by Oksana looked so natural and so AMAZING!!!

For make-up Kelly from Glam Me Up. I had gone to a trail with someone else and when I came home I was like . It looked like way too much make-up I went to Kelly and it was perfect (I hardly wear any make-up) As for hair Angela's Hair Design. She is so sweet, very reasonable, and doens't go crazy on your hair

I'm using Mya from Cosmetic Artistry (vendor on here) and she is amazing! I don't have my trial pics on my work computer but she kept it as natural as I asked for, and then added on when I wanted to see something more dramatic until we found the perfect balance. Highly recommend her!

totally agree about Glam Me Up - my friend used her and she looked flawless and natural! im using them too, but not kelly b/c she's not avail the day of my wedding. im using her colleague, and she is just as good!

I'm doing trials with these same two vendors, and I'm almost positive I'll book them - my wedding is vintage, all I want is loose flowy curly hair and cat eye-liner and red lips, too. Only a little more than a week til my trial, I'll post pics!
