I don't think it's self-centered. Clearly it's meant playfully, but similarly, I wouldn't do it. I would make it something more about the two of us.

ETA: I used a quote from our first dance.. it says 'From tonight until the end of time'

I like it!

Remember, all that matters while planning the wedding is that you and FH like what is planned. You can ask for others opinions but you don't have to agree with them. People might not know you or/and FH so they won't get the fun in it. When we planned out wedding we wanted to do our table numbers as sports stadiums. My parents INSISTED it would be more Bar Mitzvah like but I knew it wouldn't be and it wasn't. You have an idea in your head...go with that.

I agree....it's playful, but I would make it more about the both of you (even though we all know it's true...lol)

I used the line from a song too. We are Having a love called Sure Thing by Miguel as a cake cutting song (would have been first dance, but wasn't slow enough)...and used a line from there saying....This Love is a Sure Thing
