Self tanner review
I have to admit I am VERY scared of this stuff due to streaking and fear of turning orange (because it has happened) but my girlfriend SWEARS by Neutrogena and she is lighter skinned than I am and she looks great.Soooooooo, I bought the regular self tanner in deep and LOVE IT. No streaks, no orange, just a healthy glow.
Yesterday, I then opted to go crazy and bought the bronzer one (in a tube, not the foam) and I look so tan!!!! I can't believe it.
I would totally recommend trying it. I am totally going to self tan for the wedding!!!! Wanted to share with you ladies!

Re: Self tanner review
Good luck - the best part is that it dries in like 5 minutes and its not sticky!

Re: Self tanner review
I second Neutragena I am so fair (irish skin) that I can only use the med-light foam. It looks very natural. I would love to try the deep but I fear it may be too orange on my casper complexion!!
I just saw a client today who tried the 6 second tan she looked AWESOME! I thought that she had gone on vacation! She is a lot darker than me though. She has an olive complexion. It worked on her though!

Re: Self tanner review
I know that Hollywood Tans offers it. You stand in a booth you have your hair up in a shower cap, they also have you put a lot of cream on your fingernails. Than you get sprayed up and down with self tanner. As soon as you step out you must rub the tanner in very well with a towel or a cloth.I was already warned to wear baggy clothes and not a favorite pair of underware (old bloomers) even if your completly dry once you put your clothes on the undergarments get a stained orange.

Oh OK...I have heard of that, just didn't know that's what it was called. I was tempted to do this, but I heard it looks weird as it starts to wear off. Has anyone done it??

Re: Self tanner review
I'm seriously thinking of doing it. If I do I will post. I do think that if you do a search there was a thread from some girls who did it.

Re: Self tanner review
dude, my girls at the Village SWEAR by the Hollywood Tan places... where you get naked and they spritz you for like 4 seconds and then 3 hours later you have a perfect streak-free tan! And its only like $25 and lasts a full week!

I use the self tanner by Estee Lauder but it has a strong smell. How does the Neutragena smell? Please let me know.

Re: Self tanner review
I tried the neutrogena last Thursday -- my gf bought it because we were going away for the weekend and she didn't have time to go tanning first so I was the guinea pig. I can't put the stuff on properly to save my life - I missed a spot on the back of my calf but it wasn't that noticeable, and it came off pretty quickly (I think - I forgot to check it after I first noticed it) However, it did stain my pajamas (I put it on about a half hour before I went to bed).

Re: Self tanner review
To answer your questions:It has a very light scent that is nice and after your shower the next morning you can't smell it.
Merf - I don't do my back.......If I was that flexible
However, for the wedding I'll ask my mom to do it after the rest of my body has dried so I can at least lay down. I only let it dry for 10 minutes and didn't have a problem with it staining my clothes. I always do it at night before bedtime. I've gotten 2 comments today already about how tan I am :)

Re: Self tanner review
lorimari - why don't you have your mom do your back first, then apply the rest, so you don't have to wait for anything to dry? make sense?i saw the commercial for the neutrogena foam and was considering it. i'm very light skinned and definitely want a tan by the wedding, but i can get golden bronze if WE EVER GET ANY SUN!
