Re: Self Tanners
I get airbrushed at Dakotah Spa. It's great! I tried Neutrogena on my body- it was ok, but broke out so bad on my face from it! Loreal Sublime Bronze- so/so. I've yet to find an amazing one- that's why I just have someone else do it for me!

Re: Self Tanners
That Loreal stuff was horrible! The cream was not that bad but the gel was soooo bad! And of course I decided to do it the day before a wedding and stained my hands! It was bad!

I used to get sprayed from Visage in Farmingville on Portion Road. It's $45 for 2 sessions (consecutively) and then $25 each session after that. You need to go 2 times in a row to get the base tan. It last approx. a week and then you go again. NO streaking, and looks fantastic. I highly recommend.

Hands down- Clarins self tanner. It's pricy, but IMHO the best. They also make amazing sunscreen too. I used to work in beauty, and it was always rated one of the best.

Re: Self Tanners
At Dakotah there's actually a person who hand-airbrushes you, I don't know if I'd trust a booth. It's actually called Brazil Bronze- there are a few of them around. It's $50 a pop & well worth it! PS- I'm very fair & it worked with one session w/ no problems.
ETA: Yes, Cheryl- I've heard Clarins is the safest bet if you're going to do it on your own..
