Selfish Bridezilla Here Again...

Um, what do you do when wedding guests ask where you are registered and everything has already been purchased off your registry.

I had two Christmas ornaments on our list and someone just bought them - a guest who asked where we registered I presume.

Do we register for things we don't really need or do we pray they just give us gift cards?

Maybe you can say gently that you are registered at ____ but not sure whats left because you rec'd so many wonderful gifts at your shower.

Don't add anything. Hopefully they will look at your registry and see you don't need anything and give you money instead.

Ha ha, wishful thinking. I like that. I'm so obnoxious. I guess I just don't get it. All these people we gave cash to want to get us mugs and washcloths. Guess times are tough.

Its sort of mean of me lol but I am with you on this. All of FH's friends from work are asking where we are registered, and in my head I keep saying 'nooo give us the money instead' lmao

It's terrible, but I am not afraid to say the truth hah I am sure everyone thought about that at least once.

I just made sure that I put my luggage on this time lol Before the Bridal Shower I added the luggage, and no one got us anything. I am hoping that maybe someone will get us some pieces so that we can have something to go away with lol

Are you registered at BB&B? Register for some more expensive things and return them for cash.

You can tell them. When they look they will see there is nothing left and just give you money or a gift card..

Our BB&B only gives us credit unless we have gift receipts, we currently have like $200+ in credit plus gift cards. Otherwise, very good point!

I was going to say just this.. but DON'T add anything that you won't use/want- you'll only end up regretting it later and returning it.

I dont think you are selfish or a bridezilla- we had similar issues- there were very few things left and a lot of the people that asked where we were registered ended up giving us cash. one even asked me before the wedding about adding stuff- and I explained that we purchased a coop and space is limited, so we cant have too much stuff.

out of everyone we received around 4-6 gifts and the rest cash- so dont worry

I would try another BB&B, b/c I didn't have gift receipts for both items I returned, and they just print out your registry and give you the cash or the gift card.

If it's something you return that YOU didn't put on your registry, and the person purchased it under your registry, it will still show and you can get the money back. That is exactly what I did for glasses that I got that I got that I returned.
