sellers accepted our bid, engineer came & had appraisal done. What next?

How exciting to get the ball rolling.

We decided to go with the house in Shoreham.

1/2 acre, culdesac, 2.5 detached garage, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, big U driveway in front in SWR school district.

Were very happy with our decision. Though the house is kind of small everything else is just right and eventually we can always build up. Or.. Anthony can just live in the garage. j/k, j/k!!
Were going to make that into a music studio.

now that you've had the appraisal done you should expect to receive your commitment from the bank soon. your attorney should've ordered the titel report by now and once that is cleared you should be all set to close! good luck!!!!

Im confused. Were supposed to sign our contracts on Monday so does that mean all of those things should be done?

no - after you sign your contract send it to your bank and they can start doing that stuff.

Once you sign the contracts and give your down payment, the sellers then have to sign the contracts.

Then you take the contract to your mortgage broker or bank and you get approved for a mortgage.

Meanwhile, your attorney orders title and fixes up the loose ends if there are any outstanding liens, etc

The closing will take place in like 2 months. Be patient!!!! It will happen.
